Filter Bags
Filter bags are large cloth bags placed over filter leaves prior to the filtration cycle. The bags allow smaller particle sizes to be filtered out of the solution than would be possible with the bare wire mesh. They not only add a fine layer of filtration media, but can also prolong the lifespan of a filter leaf while making cake removal and maintenance easier.
We have a variety of filter leaf bag designs that allow for easy installation and removal. Some common bag closure methods available include Velcro, snap-over flaps, zippers, and drawstrings. Industrial Filter & Pump’s filter leaf bags are typically made from durable Dacron/polypropylene filter cloths. We make all of our bags in-house to ensure a proper fit with their corresponding filter leaf models.
