Featuring a virtical chamber with horizontal plate filter elements, the Type 116 filter is ideal for batch or other processes where flow interruption can occur. This filter is cleaned manually, making it one of our most economical designs. Filter media available includes paper (disposable), or washable cloth. When furnished with a spare plate assembly, downtime during cleaning can be minimized. An optional scavenger plate allows for discharge and recovery of the unfiltered liquid (heel). Chambers are available in a variety of materislas including steel, rubber-lined steel, stainless steel, or existic alloys. Filter plates are avilable in a varety of alloys, as well as polypropylene.
