The Type 114 filter features a vertical chamber with vertical tubular filters elements that collect the solids on their outer surface. This filter is ideal where rapid turnaround between cleaning cycles is required. Filter cleaning can be accomplished in a variety of ways, including Hyrda-Shoc wet cake discharge, Model "D" dry cake discharge, or model "B{" backpulse discharge. More economical than horizontalk filters of simliar capacity. Chambers are available in a variety of materials including steels, or exotic alloys. Filter tubes are available in virtually any material, including plastics, ceramics, exotic metals, or our new membrane cloth.
