the INDUSTRIAL Mellafier, an inclined plate clarifier, removes suspended solids from wastewater. The unique deisgn of plates positioned at a 60 degree angle gives this equipment approximately 10 times the clarifying capacity of circular or rectangular clarifiers. The Mellafier chamber may be fabricated from mild steel or stainless steel. Supports are of fabricated steel , and the included plate modules are polypropylene. Rubber-lined and custom designed enclosed units are also available.
